Teeth extraction

In modern dentistry practice tooth is only extracted when nothing else is left to do and therapy won’t be able to save the tooth: if tooth permanently hurts mucous cover of cheek and there is a risk of formation different inflammations. To extract or not to extract wisdom tooth – this question you should solve together with your dentist.



Statistically, more often extracted tooth is the sixth one. If the prosthesis should replace extracted sixth tooth it can be fixed to eighth, wisdom tooth in a case if seventh tooth is much damaged. In this case the practice of wisdom tooth extracting has the second side, too.

  • Cyst, when it is impossible to keep the tooth.
  • Excessive teeth, this can cause the crook of teeth.
  • If the tooth is preventing prosthetic.
  • Complicated periodontitis – periodontal inflammation – if it is impossible to abolish the inflammation.
  • The tooth is absolutely destroyed by caries.
  • Preparing teeth for braces installation.
  • Sometimes the indication for tooth extraction might be the destroyed ligament which holds the tooth in the gum.
