Rhinoplasty

It is a surgical procedure performed in order to achieve the aesthetic results by improving the appearance or size of a human nose. Rhinoplasty can also be performed to heal breathing problems and restore breathing by nose.

Nowadays, rhinoplasty is one of the most difficult and responsible surgeries in aesthetic medicine, as long as the nose is the most notable part of the human face and it is almost impossible to conceal its’ defects. That is why the rhynoplasty must be performed by experienced surgeon.

It is a quite well-known fact that Georgia is the land of aquiline (hooked) noses. That is the main reason that one of the first nose jobs in Soviet Union was held in Georgia and that gave quite big experience to Georgian surgeons. The case studies also gave surgeons of our clinic chance to make some changes and perfections in rhinoplasty techniques.

In our clinic we individually approach to each patient, as long as there are no standard noses or facial proportions. In every concrete case we choose the nose shape equivalent to facial proportions. We do our best to make nose maximally suitable for patient’s face and character and give it a natural look. The nose should not look like post-surgery.

Indications for rhinoplasty are aesthetically unsatisfactory nose shape, nasal breathing problems, caused by nose septum curvature, nasal turbinate, polyps and adenoids hypertrophy.

Indications for secondary and reconstructive rhinoplasty is unsatisfactory outcome of previous surgery.
